HSBCチャンピオンズの出場資格についてまとめています。

WGCはそれぞれ出場資格に制限があり、HSBCチャンピオンズの出場資格は以下のとおりです。

1. Winners of the 2016 Masters, US Open Championship, British Open Championship, US PGA Championship and PLAYERS Championship.
2. Winners of the 2015 WGC-HSBC Champions, 2016 WGC - Cadillac Championship, WGC - Dell Matchplay Championship and WGC - Bridgestone Invitational
3. Players ranked within the top 50 of the OWGR as of Monday 10th October 2016
4. Players ranked within the top 30* of the final 2015/2016 Fedex Cup Points List. (*NB. If there are less than 5 such available players from within the top 30, further available players from 31st position onwards will be selected in ranking order so that there are 5 players entered through this Category).
5. Players ranked within the top 30 of the 2016 Race to Dubai Rankings as of Monday 17th October 2016.
6. The leading 4 available players** not otherwise exempt in (1 – 5) above from the 2016 Asian Tour Order of Merit as of Monday 17th October 2016. (**NB. Must have participated in the Asian Tour’s notified minimum number of Order of Merit events to be eligible for this event, by the cut-off date).
7. The leading 2 available players not otherwise exempt in (1 – 5) above from the 2016 Japan Golf Tour Order of Merit as of Monday 17th October 2016.
8. The leading 2 available players not otherwise exempt in (1 – 5) above from the final 2015 PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.
9. The leading 2 available players not otherwise exempt in (1 – 5) above from the final 2015 Sunshine Tour Order of Merit.
10. 6 Chinese Players not otherwise exempt above.
11. Reserves

それぞれ以下のような内容になっています。

1. 2016年4大メジャー及びプレーヤーズチャンピオンシップ優勝者
2. 前年HSBC優勝者及び2016年WGC優勝者
3. 10/10時点でのWGRトップ50
4. 前シーズンFedExCupランクトップ30の内上位5名
　※30位までで資格者が5名に満たない場合は31位以降5名になるまで繰り下がり
5. 10/17時点でのレーストゥドバイランクトップ30
6. 上記カテゴリ1-5に入っていない選手の内、10/17時点でのアジアンツアー賞金ランクトップ4
7. 上記カテゴリ1-5で出場資格のない選手の内、10/17時点での日本ツアー賞金ランクトップ2
8. 上記カテゴリ1-5で出場資格のない選手の内、2015年オーストラレイジアツアー賞金ランクトップ2
9. 上記カテゴリ1-5で出場資格のない選手の内、2015年サンシャインツアー賞金ランクトップ2
10. 上記カテゴリーで出場資格のない中国選手6名
11. リザーブ

11.のリザーブに関しては10.まででフルフィールドの78名に満たない場合に以下のような条件で出場資格を得ていきます。

i. The first four reserves will consist of the next highest ranked player not otherwise exempt on each of the Orders of Merit specified in (6 – 9) above.
   The order of these 4 reserves will be determined by their OWGR ranking as of Monday 10th October 2016.
ii. The next highest ranked player from the Race to Dubai Rankings as of 17th October 2016.
iii. The next highest ranked player from the OWGR as of 10th October 2016.
iv. The next highest ranked player from the final 2015/2016 Fedex Cup Points list.

i. 上記カテゴリー1-10で出場資格のない選手の内、カテゴリー6-9の各ツアーの賞金ランクで次点の選手
　10/10時点のWGR順でオルタネイトの順番を決定
ii. 上記カテゴリー1-10で出場資格のない選手の内、10/17時点でのレーストゥドバイ最上位者
iii. 上記カテゴリー1-10で出場資格のない選手の内、10/10時点でのWGR最上位者
iv. 上記カテゴリー1-10で出場資格のない選手の内、前シーズンFedExCupランク最上位者

i～ivの順で出場選手を決定し、更にフルフィールドに満たない場合は再度i～ivの2順で繰り下がっていくようです。

※HSBCチャンピオンズのフィールドリストでは9.のサンシャインツアーの賞金ランクトップ2の該当年度が2016年となっていますが、ヨーロピアンツアー公式サイトのフィールドリストとサンシャインツアーの賞金ランクを確認したところ該当年度は2015年となっていましたので、ここでは2015年と修正した内容を載せています。
